I thinks it's so hot when realize none of your clothes are fitting you anymore, you break lawn chairs and can't fit in small places anymore without struggling to fit. That's where I'm at right now

Breaking toilet seats is a thing in our house. Wife and I have ripped a few off their bolts with the size of our growing bodies :-)

Things I've broken / destroyed:

- barstool in my own kitchen
- dining room chair at my soon-to-be in-laws
- pool float
- Adirondack chair at a VRBO
- numerous toilet seats
- shower chair
- mechanism in the passenger seat of my old car
- a hotel mattress
- a conference room chair
- 2 restaurant chairs
- 2 scales
- a grocery store mobility scooter

At this size, where I go is very much determined by the seating available, since some of this destruction happened publicly.

I’ve broken 2 box springs mattresses, 3 toilet seats, a side step into a truck, and numerous plastic lawn chairs

But what’s amazing is I can’t fit on toilet seats in public, I can’t buckle a seatbelt, and chairs with armrests are a no go

How do you break a mattress - do you mean a bed frame?

This was a spring mattress, and I hadn't even slept on it yet. I was sitting on the side attempting to dress for a wedding, and I was struggling a bit, so I was kind of trying to "wiggle" my way into my dress. I both heard two noises and felt something give way. There was a distinct sag in the side of the mattress itself that never fluffed back up. I slept on the opposite side that night without incident, and I never had any issues with the hotel trying to bill me for it. I'm still not sure what exactly happened to it though.

I do know of one obese person who had a hospital stay and was placed in a regular bed instead of a bariatric one. His weight crushed whatever mechanisms help the bed redistribute pressure and left it with a sunken area. They had to switch it out for one that could support him.

I had to ask for a seatbelt extender on the plane for the first time last week, it was embarrassing and hot 🔥 Also, getting winded way more easily, and running hot all the time (aka faster to get sweaty, so I avoid heat at all costs and eat lots of ice cream)

I have not fit into a booth for a very long time. Last time I flew, again a long time ago, I had to squeeze into the seat and no way the seat belt would buckle. I just put the ends under my belly and they never asked. Dodge seat belts do not fit me but luckily Ford's and GM's still do, but barely.

I have a belt extender in my Jeep.
I am too scared to fly but I am sure I would have to ask for one.

I get a buzz from requesting a seat belt extender - good to be proud of one's size. More of a potential problem, that may effect you also, is the prospect of not fitting into a single seat - period. I'm fine with more weight but don't fancy having to pay for two seats. First class fares are priced ridiculously.

I have to have two seats and extender, I am almost as wide as the isle , so I ask for special boarding to avoid bumping every one, its a sort of fat hack. My belly is running out of room to the seat in front, that is my next concern pitch not width.
